Campus Selection

James Graham Library

The library, in our James Graham building, is open 24/7 every day of the year and has a variety of study spaces. You'll have access to printed and online resources and you’ll also find laptops and camera equipment available for loan. You’ll also be able to attend free workshops to develop your study skills.

Student Support

We have friendly, professional teams on hand to offer advice and guidance when you need it most. Our Student Hubs, located on both campuses, will be your first port of call for queries about student life and support. They can direct you to our specialist advice teams to make sure you get the assistance you need as soon as possible.

Sports Facilities and Gym

Our excellent facilities and sporting opportunities are open to everyone to help you keep fit and have fun, regardless of ability. If you are looking for a career in sport, you can rest assured you’ll be using some of the most cutting-edge sporting equipment and facilities around.

Carnegie School of Sport

We've invested £45million in our home for sport. The Carnegie School of Sport is a base for our undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes, and provides a hub for the elite athletes who use our sports performance expertise. The building houses a wealth of state-of-the-art facilities including a 60m indoor athletics track, nutrition teaching kitchen, high performance strength & conditioning facility, human movement research lab, two environmental chambers, and a performance analysis lab.

Rose Bowl

Our Rose Bowl building offers impressive teaching spaces, lecture theatres and conference facilities, and is a great place for networking. It puts you in the centre of a dynamic business community in a city with a thriving job market.

Broadcasting Place

Voted one of the world’s best tall buildings and a big talking point in Leeds, Broadcasting Place is home to our art, design, fashion, architecture and built environment courses. It offers creative and contemporary learning environments, is packed with the latest technology and is a focal point for innovative thinking.

Sheila Silver Library

You’ll always find a place to study – our Sheila Silver Library at City Campus is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year. And it’s more than just books - you can borrow laptops and camera equipment, print and photocopy, search thousands of electronic resources, work in a group or in a silent study room.

Wider Campus

Our University is very proud of its specialist facilities located in various buildings across our campus and the wider city.

Portland/Calverley

Our Portland and Calverley buildings are home to specialist health, business and law facilities designed to bring your learning to life.

Leeds School of Arts

Our new £80 million Leeds School of Arts building gives students access to outstanding professional, industry standard facilities and innovative learning spaces.

Arena Village

Arena Village is just a 7 minute walk from City Campus and has a wide range of rooms, flats and studios for different needs and budgets. Facilities on-site include free gym, secluded study spaces and social areas, offering a great place to relax with friends.

Carnegie Village

Carnegie Village is a development of high quality, purpose built student flats situated on Headingley Campus with on-site parking available. Stay here if your lectures are at Headingley Campus and you want to live on-site.

Kirkstall Brewery

The converted Kirkstall Brewery property provides accommodation in a number of attractive blocks with many amenities for 800 students. It is situated one and a half miles from our Headingley Campus. Stay here if you would like to live in leafy surroundings but still be close to the city and everything it has to offer.

Mill Street

A modern development of purpose-built student flats close to the city’s main shops and bars. This 10 storey property provides accommodation within easy walking distance of the City Campus and the city centre.

Marsden House

A modern development of high quality, purpose-built student flats in the heart of the student community on Burley Road. Marsden House houses over 900 students and its lively atmosphere is ideal for first year students.

Broadcasting Tower

With its award-winning architecture and weathered steel finish, Broadcasting Tower is an exciting place to spend your first year (and beyond). It’s located right next to the University’s city campus and is conveniently placed for trips into the city centre and it was recently refurbished in the summer of 2016.
